Introduction: When I am on holiday, I had another iPod which is linked with another computer. However, if I cap them into another computer, the application will immediately look at my “Music Library” and erase my entire collection. So, I would suggest you to be careful and read this tutorial.

Method 1 – Music Library File Transfer & Rebuild

1.] Look for these files and transfer them through another computer. However, they must be readable and editable from another computer.

C:\Documents and Settings\Lair360\My Documents\My Music\iTunes

iTunes Library.itl
iTunes Library Extras.itdb
iTunes Library Genius.itdb

2.] Insert your iPod from another computer (the machine that you want to synchronize and transfer your music).

3.] Let your iTunes library rebuild your “Music Library”.

Method 2 – Drag & Drop

1.] Execute iTunes and look at your iPod menu. There should be two boxes: “Manually Manage Music and Videos and Enable Disk Use.” All you need to do is highlight them and exit iTunes.

2.] Hold “SHIFT” and open iTunes. There will be a small dialogue box: “Choose iTunes Library”.

3.] Select this option: “Create Library” and navigate yourself to “Preference”. After that, you should go to “Advance Tab” and check “Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized”

4.] Now, you will need to access your iPod drive and take a look at this directory.

*iPod_Drive:\iPod_Control\Music\

5.] Copy these folders into your “iTunes Library” and let it organize all of your music files, playlist and albums.

6.] You are done!

Method 3 – Drop them into your music folder

1.] Execute iTunes and look at your iPod menu. There should be two boxes: “Manually Manage Music and Videos and Enable Disk Use.” All you need to do is highlight them and exit iTunes.

2.] Hold “SHIFT” and open iTunes. There will be a small dialogue box: “Choose iTunes Library”.

5.] Create a new folder on your Desktop and copy these music folders into your new folder

6.] Locate your “iTunes Library Folder” and drop them in there for process.

Notes: your music folders (directory) may be different. Therefore, it is recommended to check your “Music” folders before copying. Secondly, your iPod’s music folder needs to be viewable. In other terms, it can’t be hidden.

7.] Look into your iTunes application and select your “Music” folder which is shown in your “iTunes Media – Music” folder.

8.] Click Ok and let the application recompile your music files, folders and directories.

9.] You are done!

Notes: What these codes do is: check your browser if the user is behind a proxy or using a proxy provider. After that, it will block the offending users (proxy users) from accessing your webpage or to a specific page.

Notes: this tutorial was written for beginners and for user’s who had difficulty updating their “M3 Simply” firmware. For other user who doesn’t have a copy of this cartridge, I would recommend you to buy one from a reliable website. I would recommend this: http://www.aria.co.uk

1.] Go to the given link and download “Panasonic SD formatter”.
2.] Install the application; take out your “Micro SDTF” card and plug it into a mobile card reader or a USB card reader (Micro SDTF compatible). After that, you will need to plug into your computer and let it synchronize.
3.] Execute “Panasonic SD formatter” and reformat your card. But, please keep all settings as default and don’t touch the card when it is reformatting!
4.] At this stage you will have a blank “SDTF” card. But, don’t forget to download your M3 Simply Firmware and extract these files / folder into your root directory: “_system_, Moonshl, _DS_MENU and _DS_MSHL”.
5.] Create a new folder and name it as: “Games / NDS / ROM” and drag all of your games into that folder.
6.] Safely remove your “Micro SDTF” card and carefully slot the little thing into your “M3 Simply” cartridge”.
7.] Place the “M3 Simply” cartridge into your DS console and have fun!
8.] You are done!

How to install Wood R4 operating systems

2.] Download “Wood R4” firmware and extract everything into your root directory.

5.] Place the “M3 Simply” cartridge into your DS console and have fun!

8.] Run “iEdge Bootstrap v1.xx” and locate your “Soduko” NDS file. But, don’t forget to locate your “Micro SD” card!

Tips: the update button will not be ‘grayed’ out if you have the correct NDS file.

9.] Click on the “Update” icon and let the application create a patch for your Nintendo DSi / DS Lite.

10.] After the “Update” process, you may safely remove your USB reader and take out your “Micro SD” card.

11.] Insert your “Micro SD” card into your “iEDGE cartridge” and switch on your DS console.

Warning: the “iEdge” has an onboard LED which will begin to flash, this can be seen by looking at the point near the middle of the cartridges. This is a signal telling you that the update is in progress. However, at this critical moment, you should leave the DS consol alone and interfere with the process.

12.] When the DS cartridge stops flashing, you will need to switch off your DS console and switch it on.

13.] You are done! Grab a cold drink and enjoy yourself!!

Operating System

1.] Download “iEdge OS 1.xx” from the original website.
2.] Extract two of these files and folder: “EDGE + IEDGE.DAT” into the root directory of your “Micro SD” card.
3.] Safely remove your “iEdge USB” reader and insert your “Micro SD” card into your Nintendo DSi / DS Lite.
4.] Bootup your DS console and have fun!

2.] In the ‘UAC control’ windows, you will need to slide your panel downward. This will completely disable UAC security prompt.

Notes: Some people will say that this option is NOT recommended. But, who the hell wants this on their system? It is annoying for heavens’ sake!!

3.] Reboot your computer if necessary.

For many confused users, I would recommend you to extract your brushes into this directory. However, you will need to restart ‘Adobe CS4’ to register your new brushes with the program.
