iEdge Bootstrap v2 – Easy Install Guide
Introduction: Updating your card’s firmware is very important, if you want to play the latest games and releases. However, if you haven’t patch your firmware, you might as well patch your iEdge card, immediately, just before updating your Nintendo DSi firmware (Official Nintendo DSi and other model firmware). Failing to update your iEdge card before updating your console’s official firmware, it may (either) block your card from playing your beloved games or stop the card from working. Nevertheless, if you cannot update your iEdge card, you can either use an older model: “Nintendo DS Lite” and patch your iEdge card with this console.
Notes: if you don’t have a “DS Lite”, then please buy one from a retailer, online store or from a game store. They may have one at a cheap price. Also, if you have one by any chance, I would highly recommend you to take extra care with this older model. There are not a lot of these consoles, which is for sale anymore.
Notes: if you can’t update your iEdge cards, then please ask a friend who has a “DS Lite” console for you to borrow. However, if your friend doesn’t want you to touch his DS, you may aswell buy one from a gamestore.

1.] Create a new folder in your disk drive and give it a name. It can be anything for storing downloaded stuff and your games.
2.] Direct yourself to the correspondent website and download: “ iEdge Bootstrap and SD card formatter.” Once you’re done, you must extract these applications and put them into your new folder.
3.] Install this software: “SD Card formatter” and backup your NDS games. You should dump it in your new folder.
4.] Reformat your SDHC card and execute “iEdge Bootstrap”. After that, you will need to download this NDS file: “0363 – Puzzle Series Vol.3 – Sudoku.” The actual NDS file can be found on my server.

The original file should have these signature.

5.] Locate the correspondent file: “0363 Puzzle Series Vol.3” and point the application to your SDHC card. Also, here is my personal advice: you should download this software and check the file’s ‘CRC-32’ string. It should match the given number.
6.] Safely remove your SDHC card and slot them into your iEdge cartridge. After that, you will need to switch on your DS console and hit the “Soduko” icon. But, don’t press anything or touch the screen after this process. I would recommend you to leave the DS console alone and let it patch your card.
7.] When you are done with the patching. You should turn off your “DS console” and restore your games. However, you won’t be able to play them, if you haven’t download the “iEdge OS” file. This file can be found from the official website.

All you need to do is extract these “OS file” into your SDHC card and safely remove the card from your computer.
8.] Have fun and don’t get crazy with the game. It’s only for fun and you should treat it lightly. But, don’t forget to do your homework!!
