How to update your iEdge OS software
For the last weeks, I was busy working on my other project. It was harsh and the commitment was high. But, that is not your problem. Therefore, I would like you to read this tutorial if you are having problems with the iEdge software. That is all you need to know…
Rightnow, there has been complaints from iEdge users that their operating system doesn’t boot after the initial update. So, in my case – I presume that you are doing it in the wrong way.
Warning: this tutorial will only work on DS Lite console. If you have any other version,
I would recommend you to read other tutorials.

Tutorial – Formating, Cleaning & Updating
1.] Connect to the internet and download the latest iEdge operating systems and the other software.
2.] Install this software: “Panasonic SD formatter” and execute the application.
But, don’t touch any of the settings. I would recommend you to keep everything as default.
Notes: you will need to minimize this application to avoid conflicts.
3.] Take your SDHC card and slot it into a USB / Media card reader.
4.] Insert your USB / Media card reader into a free port.
5.] Backup your ‘Cheat’ database and your ‘Game’ folder. It can be copied into another directory or on your desktop.
6.] Double check everything and use the “SD formatter”. Let the process clean your SDHC card and “Safely” remove it from your computer.
7.] Slot it back and extract your new iEdge operating system. However, please don’t overwrite anything or drag your Game folder into the card. If you did this by mistake, then you will have to reformat your card again.
8.] Safely remove your SDHC card and insert the little thing into your iEdge cartridge.
9.] Switch on your DS Lite and let your iEdge boot.
10.] Configure your iEdge languages and turn it off.
11.] Take out your SDHC card and put in your backup file.
However, regarding to your ‘Cheat’ database, it must be place inside your “Edge” folder.
12.] When you are done with the backup / restore. You may safely remove your SDHC card and enjoy your time.
You Are Done!
