Sony Media Go – disable media sharing
Introduction: when I was at a café shop, I was totally shocked that I am sharing my media contents on “Media Go” application! Therefore, I quickly disable its function and prevent the application from showing my contents.

If anybody noticed this behavior on “Media Go” application, here is a small tutorial for you to disable your ‘sharing’ function.
1.] Execute ‘Media Go’ and wait for the dialogue box.
2.] Look at your tabs and select: “Tools >> Preference >> Network.”
3.] At this stage, you will need to de-select “Media Sharing”.
4.] Click OK to accept the changes.
5.] You are done!
Notes: when you are in a public area that uses the internet, you could expose your contents, music files and details to other users. So, I would suggest you to disable your “Media Sharing” functions. This should block unknown users and hackers from stealing your information and intruding your privacy.
Always think ahead when you are in a café or in a public area that uses the internet…
