Protect your computer with Comodo Secure DNS!
Introduction: For years and generations, I still support Comodo and their application. Surprisingly, they also provide everyone with another protection engine. They called it: “Comodo Secure DNS”. But, who cares about these bloated stuff! Comodo is doing a great job just to keep everyone secure and protected!!
So, what is the big picture behind DNS server?
A DNS server (Domain Name System) is like a phone book which help your PC locate the address of a particular website / domain, that you are trying to reach / visit. But, if we strip apart this ‘DNS’ term, there is a whole – new – world behind it. For example, if you surf the web and type in my website, the correspondent DNS server will retrieve my site’s ‘IP address’ and convert them into a domain name. In other terms, it’s easier to remember the actual domain name than it is to remember the site’s addresses. Also, DNS will allow you to connect to another ‘networked’ computer or remote service by using its domain name instead of using numerical IP addresses.
