Ping like a submarine from MAC OS Leopard

mac-os-x-snow-leopardIntroduction: In the afternoon, I was reading a book about DDoS attacks. It explains the effect on “Denial – Of – Service – Attack”. However, the main owner who invented this DDoS engine, it’s still a mystery to the world and cyberspace. I could have notice!

Right! Today, we are going to learn something that is hidden from an Apple Mac systems. We called it: “Ping”.

The function of “Ping” will allow you to send multiple signals to a domain / IP addresses and see if they are alive, expired or unknown. This tutorial is pretty straight forward and it’s like Windows. However, we are not using CMD command. What we are using is “Ping”, which is from a Mac Os – Utility Program.

1.] Double-click on your “Hard Drive icon >> Application Folder >> Utility Folder >> Network Utility Program.”

2.] Wait for the dialogue box to open and the “Ping” tab. After that, just enter the hostname / IP addresses and press Enter.

3.] Finally, all you need to do is wait for the results!

4.] Finish.
