How to convert your DVD movies into PSP format

When I was overseas, I forgot to bring my DVD player. It was my worse nightmare. But, I did have my PSP. Therefore, I’ve got a plan to convert some of my purchased movies (genuine dvd) and transfer them from my laptop to my PSP.

Warning: if you want to convert some of your movies, then you will need your original disk. However, stealing these movies from another site (online) is considered as crime. Therefore, I would like everyone to be respectful and do things correctly.

1.] If you want to convert some of your DVD movies, then you will need to download / install these “CodeC” packages. They are crucial for various conversions…

CodeX / CodeC packages.

2.] Download this application and run it. By default, the application will look for any DVD drives. However, if it doesn’t then you may have to locate it.

3.] Wait for the application to load and direct yourself to: “Options >> Output” and modify your default settings. I would recommend “High Quality” formats.

Recommend Modifications.
—————————————
+ Output Video Format: MPEG4
+ Video Aspect Ratio: 16:9
+ Video Resolution: (Width x Height): 368:208 [Highly Recommended]
+ Video Frame Rate: 24
+ Video Quality: 1200 kbps [Highly Recommended]
+ Audio Quality: 128 kbps
+ Audio Sample Rate: 24000 kbps [Recommended]

4.] When you are done with the above settings, just click “Add” and it will be shown on the menu. But, don’t forget to give your movie a title before the conversion.

Notes: if you got an error after the conversion, just ignore it. The file is not corrupted or damage. In other terms, the application has a bug and it will not effect anything.

5.] Finally, you may look for the output directory and transfer them to your PSP. That is all for some portable entertainment.
