PlayStation 3 Ports

Introduction: this manual was created for users who had difficulty looking for “PlayStation – Network” ports from the original Sony PlayStation Website.

All games which are published by SCEE may use the following ports to communicate with the game servers….

Incoming & outgoing traffic via local TCP port: 443
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local TCP port: 5223
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local TCP port: 10070 – 10080
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local UDP port: 3478
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local UDP port: 3479
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local UDP port: 3658
Incoming & outgoing traffic via local UDP port: 10070

For PlayStation Network…

Notes: If your wireless router supports UPnP, you will need to enable the UPnP function.

If your router doesn’t support UPnP, you’ll need to use this port to allow communication between PlayStation 3 systems and the Internet.

Incoming & outgoing TCP connections to remote port: 9293

1.] To play online, you’ll need to configure your ports with this website:

http://www.portforward.com/routers.htm

Notes: I am not going to tell you how to configure your wireless router because:

a.] Too many wireless routers.
b.] some wireless router cannot perform static IPs.

2.] Insert these ports into your router pages.

3.] Save your ports settings and reboot your router.

4.] Finish!
